I think it's instinctive....like primitive men running from wolves. Plus, few want to actually hurt a dog, so they run.

That show was BS if you read about the Williamson County sheriff who had his department Cowboying for the camera. They ended up killing a guy and the city put a stop to the show.

Sheriff Chody was a corrupt, slimey jackass. Almost landed in prison for destroying video evidence that showed the guy's death.

Police union probably ought to be abolished since they're gov employees. It's OK to commit crimes other people would spend 5-10 years on if you have the magic badge....

Well, you could just surrender and not have the dog released. You’re going to get caught anyway. No sense in becoming a chew toy for 30 secs or so.

For sure that would be the best choice, but once the handler says the magic word that choice is gone.

Once you’re being chased by a K-9 unit, you’ve made a series of bad choices.
