They did state in the video that the traction could be made the same as asphalt. I don't really understand how though either?

I dont know how this could work in states that get a lot of snow and rain, that glass would be made ?X slicker.

It has a lot better chance to work in AZ, SoCal, Florida etc..

It would have to be prefabbed that locked together and you probably have to frame lock them in some how.

Niffty idea not sure if it will ever work on a large scale but hey more power to them if they can make it work

I agree that this makes more sense for warmer, sunnier states.

Here in MO, we get so much ice and snow....I can't imagine blading off a road made of glass.
