They did state in the video that the traction could be made the same as asphalt. I don't really understand how though either? I dont know how this could work in states that get a lot of snow and rain, that glass would be made ?X slicker. It has a lot better chance to work in AZ, SoCal, Florida etc.. Thats a really cool find.
