I've seen worse teams but when you factor in three decades of Jerry and his family with no end in sight, yes this is the worst season. When it's all said and done, could this be the worst season in Cowboy history? I mean we have already seen a couple of ugly records and still have 8 games left.
And Jimmy Johnson took the absolute worst team in the league, also in the pre-free agency era, and in 4 short years built a team that didn't lose championships but win them to the tune of a dynasty all while being attached to the worst owner in the history of sports.Think about this, Tom Landry took a rag tag expansion team and in five years were battling the Lombardi Packers for the NFL championship title.. and Jerry is on his 29th year and has one of the worst teams in the league. And easier to acquire talent quickly than back in that era. Unbelievable.
