3 SB's followed by 28 years of nothing.

Would you do it over again?

Would you take the next 3 SB's followed by another near 30 years of nothing?

I would say yes, but that means future fans would be miserable. I am not a monster.

I'd be happy to take that 3 and 30 deal. I'll just play more Sunday golf starting in 2028 with my username proudly plastered on my bag.

Yes please. I'll take 3 superbowls.

At this point i have lowered the bar to getting to a NFCC game

Sorry, I have to disagree. If Jerruh would have hired another competent HC like Jimmy when he replaced Jimmy, that HC may have won 2 or even 3 more SBs instead of Switzer stumbling and bumbling to just one SB win.
Each season stands on its own, there is no payment plan. SBs are bought and paid for in the season they happen. That our drafting and scouting dept went to crap after those SB wins is a separate matter on its own.
Jerruh then hired Chan Gailey after Switzer who was like a wet noodle when it came to dealing with players. If he did happen to say something they didn't like, players like Irvin and others ran to Jerruh to take their side.
Jerruh mimanaged everything after Jimmy left, including but not limited to keep players too long way past their prime and not developing younger players as replacements like Jimmy did.
It doesn't take 3 years to develop players good enough to win a SB, let alone 28 years.

Wow. What an insane question. What we had was 4 years of competence followed by 29 of incompetence.

I would trade all 5 super bowls to get rid of Jerry Jones, and his entire family, for the health and well-being of all Cowboys fans worldwide.

I would but only because I am 72 and most likely will not be around for the next 30 years after 3 SBs.

But objectively, I would say no, because there is no reason to settle for 3 then 30. I would set the bar higher than that. It should not take 30 years to rebuild a team to get back to the Super Bowl. That is 3 generations of players passing through Dallas. Something tells me, if we had the management to get to 3 SBs, they wouldn't need 30 years to get back to the Super Bowl. The reason we have waited 30 years and counting is because we no longer have the guys that got us to the last 3 Super Bowls, and frankly, Jerry Jones doesn't want guys like that around. He wants to win doing it on his own. However 30 years is pretty convincing evidence Jerry is incapable of getting his team to a SB.

That would average out to a Championship every 10 years in a league with 32 teams (and maybe growing).

That would be 3x the average.

Any sane person would take that

Has nothing to do with karma or sold his soul to the devil, it's purely on him. His ego is a serious mental health thing. He's so annoying. If he hired a guy that pulled what he's pulled over the past 29 years, he'd have fired him 10 times already, but keeps himself.
