Agreed. There's a lot at stake tonight for this team. And it works both ways: a win here invalidates a stigma that they can't beat this SF team. But a loss here confims it, which would be a pretty big wet blanket on their confidence going forward.

The differential there is pretty big...

49ers is just one of those teams that always finds a way to kick us in our teeth and knock them all out. Chargers will be our comeback game though and all will be well in the kingdom.

I’m seeing a loss too and it infuriates me. I’m tired of this team disappointing me and my son and I need something to change here and now!!!!!!!!

Agreed- this is a huge test to see if they belong in the NFC elite with SF and Philly. If they don't win it has to be close or else it will show the Cowboys aren't in the class of those 2 teams

More than just standings (and yes I realize they are also important) I think they need to get this monkey off their back. Clearly San Francisco is in their heads now and they need this win to inject some confidence into the team. Give them a little swagger back.

Can they do it? I don't know. Time will tell.

The Cowboys well can stand their ground, then it's a game. Us fans couldn't miss it no matter the bumps this one involved.

A fan follows his team based upon faith. Just as in one's religion, you put your faith in what is right. Those are not dependent upon rewards one receives alone.

One puts faith into his role, that is independent of just if there are desired rewards.

Some just don't realize a fan shares the faith. To attack and down grade is purely disrespect of team and true fans.

As to expectation, no faith sees nothing more than failure.

I'n right there, shoulder to shoulder with you my friend. Our team is a winner now.:starspin:

Not a must win, for me I want to see how Dak shows up, our offense, play calling, red zone... I also want to see " big time players" parsons etc. Show up. If we lose and they play lights out I can live with that.
If they lay an egg, win or lose....that is worse going forward IMO.

We can beat the 9ers and then find a way to lose to Washington. The NFL is weird.

No such thing as a must win this early in the season . Cowboys can win and lose Micah, Lamb and Zack Martin later on the year and it won’t matter . Cowboys could lose and 49ers lose Purdy , Mccafrey and Bosa later on in the year and it won’t matter. A win obviously is the goal since it will build confidence and improve the record .
