We can clinch a play-off berth

probably not gonna happen this week, needing all those other teams to lose

Screw a playoff birth, we're getting in almost 100%. What needs to happen to secure a first round bye?

Win out I believe.

Take a look at the bracket....it has N.O. at the #2 seed. If we beat them, I believe that we'll switch IF Seattle loses as well....

We win out and have Seattle lose one game.....THEN we'll be #2.

Considering nothing crazy happens, we have to finish one game ahead of both New Orleans and Seattle, or if we beat New Orleans we only have to tie with New Orleans and finish one game ahead of Seattle, because unless I'm mistaken they both have the tie breakers over us without any head to head matchups.

So basically if we take care of the saints later today, we just have to worry about finishing with 1 win more than Seattle.

Note, this takes into account that the Bears finish with the best record, because they technically haven't clinched a first round bye yet. If they somehow lose out or lose 3, then I have no idea how that would shape up, then again it's most likely not going to happen.

Seattle has to play San Diego.....thats the best shot if Dallas wins out. If Seattle wins out, then I hate to say it but a loss this weekend wouldn't be too harmful. It would give Dallas the #4 and prolong a trip to Chicago, providing they win.

How would being number #4 prolong the trip? Chicago would play the lowest seeded opponent, that would be a one way ticket to Chicago after the wildcard provided that #3 won their home game.

nevermind......just took a look and you were right.......my bad.

Eagles are realistically the only real threat to beat us after today; the Falcons are totally self destructing and nuff said about the Kitty Kats.
Eagles could win if we screw up enough- other then that we have no reasons not to win our last 3. Seattle has a couple of games that they could lose; their D is having problems.

For some reason I don't feel good at all about this game or the Falcons game. The Eagles and Lions don't scare me.

In all honesty, I'm more worried about the Falcons then I am the Saints, don't really have an explanation for it other then it's a feeling I'm getting. However, if we play relatively mistake free ball, then I don't think there's a team left on our schedule including possible playoff opponants that could beat us.
