We have gotten terrific play out of our offensive and defensive lines so far this year.

They say that’s how games are won.

We have pretty good depth as well.

Give the team credit for building up both lines at the same time. That’s difficult to do. Just ask the Giants. We pushed them around on both sides of the ball tonight.

Played well against mild opponents.

Absolutely agree. They have quietly pieced together a phenomenal group, especially on defense
Second year in a row we’ve been surprised with what we thought was a disappointing offseason. Let’s see if it ends differently.

I remember the anger at the Kearse/Watkins/Neal FA class lol

The DL is all around better than I thought it would be. Of course, Parsons being accounted for on every single down likely helps everyone but everyone seems to be contributing. Good to see.

There are 30 other teams in the NFL that would swap their defense out for ours right this second. I say 30 because we played the best one week 1.

Once Peter's gets his game legs back,it's gonna be scary.

I know right? I actually wake up from my lethargic malaise of watching the offense when they run like last year's first 6-7 games.

I just hope this year's run game effectiveness lasts for more than a few regular season wins.

Either way though, at least when we're running downhill over people I stay awake, lol.

My kinda ball.

The question becomes can they win this way against top quality opponents. The Rams and Eagles are coming up.

I have my doubts, but we will see.

I watched the game again and I thought Peters was just passable. He clearly is not in football shape yet, and at his age he may never be. His mobility is limited and honestly I didn't see him shove anyone around.

What improved against the Giants is the TEs blocking. Clearly Feguson is a much better blocker than Schultz.
