Because this happened over the course of about seven games, people ignore that we have been losing quality players---Diggs, LVE, Hankins, T. Smith, Martin.

Injuries happen. But these injuries occurred in two places where we absolutely have to have top players---middle D line and O-line. I don't think the impact of these losses was as apparent because Diggs & LVE went out early. On OL especially---because of its incredible requirement for coordination and communications, taking out two pro-bowlers creates a serious offensive issue.

I've seen this team play at a high level even with injuries. I've seen this team suck on the road with no injuries. The results have been the same.

I agree, football is a game of attrition. The healthiest teams that make it to the playoffs usually do better.

But it is more than just that. The Ravens draft players and turn them into the physical, hard hitting monsters they become. The Cowboys draft players and turn them into the soft patsies they become. There is no excuse for Edoga taking over for Tyron and then allowing Chubb a free run at the QB multiple times. The Phins took advantage of our backups by being more physical.. The Cowboys did not beat the Phins backups and it could be one reason they lost the game.

Pretty sure Miami was down 4 starting OL

I will take “Next excuse “ for 500 Alex

Welcome to football. Injuries happen. Every year. The owners refuse to make the roster bigger but keep extending the season. It's a battle of attrition. The team that stays the most healthy has the best shot of winning the super bowl.

That was the previous week. I think against us they were down 1. Well, 2 if you count the player ben starting for a starter for the last month or so. So does that count, since he was the current starter for that time.

Look we were also missing Hooker in the Buffalo game, Ricos had an ankle issue, then we had some of the other guys go out and we had about 10 guys with the stomach flu and and a few getting over it but nobody wants to give us that as an excuse even though it's a reason you're on the road and a little bit of weather bunch of dudes have the flu been a long season guys are out injured but no everyone just wants to call it a loss like any other loss let them have that I don't care I still gonna remember they didn't have the energy because a lot of them were sick/injured and it's a long season..

Damone Clark has been just awful at times. He doesn't tackle, draws flags and just out of position. I haven't seen him fill a gap on a run play in a long time. Teams attack us in the middle for that reason. We are soft there. We arent even close to having the right scheme or players to beat the Ravens, Niners, or physical teams that run it well. Which is why I feel Detroit may well beat us Saturday. Unless we sure it up.

And they are still in the running for the division and the 2 spot and even still mathematically for the 1. Even if they stay in the 5 position the NFC is wide open. Any of the playoff teams can be beaten by any of the other playoff teams. Even the mighty 49ers.
