Read this on NFL.com: "it (Dallas' defense) has only one sack in its last three games and is the only team with a sack rate lower than 2.7% over that span (0.9%)."

I think it's obvious teams have adjusted and started attacking us with the short drop back/quick passing game, which is inline with what Micah was talking about. I feel like our corners almost concede short slants/crosses for 7-8 yard chunks. I'd like to see Quinn adjust and start playing press more to help disrupt the receivers and buy our d-line some more time in their rush.

They tend to play the 2nd Safety towards the box like a hybrid WiLL LB, if you drop him back then you’re exposing an already bad run defense. If you leave him up your exposing Hooker, leaving him trying to cover an immense amount of ground to any receiver who beats that press vs our woefully inexperienced corners. Guessing they’re content with continuing with the bend don’t break!

At least until Hankins, and LVE get back into the lineup and hopefully someone opposite Diggs shows he is capable.

The bend don't break cost us 27 points in the last outing. Sometimes that's tough to overcome.

Sometimes pressure is as good as a sack. It leads to mistakes....sometimes. Prescott got sacked what, 6 times in the last game (I think), and we still won. Strip sacks are the key. They usually lead to points.

When they trusted their back end they were willing to take a lot of risks to generate negative plays. They were amazing at it too. But that’s gone now. And they’re forced to commit even more without two of their three top run defenders. Basically they went from being able to take almost everything away to being dictated to by the offense. Hopefully, LVE and Hankins can help stabilize early downs and allow for a little more creativity in higher leverage situations

The top 2 WRs each had 100 plus yards receiving with 14 and 17 ypc ave. Goedert had another 67 with a 22 ypc ave. In large part because our corners were already overly aggressive and kept biting. Playing press and further exposing them ain’t the answer!

Eh, except Hankins wasn’t really making that big a difference. Lawrence is playing through a broken toe, Armstrong with a busted knee. When he gets through concussion protocol, double the snaps for Williams!

Time for DQ to earn his paycheck.

Stick to 4 man rushes and play coverage tight against the 3 step drop.
