...or, at least, the modern NFL version of it. Dak is not the QB to be averaging nearly 600 passes a season, he's not built for that. People can point to how much we scored when Dak came back, simple fact is, while we scored more we also turned the ball over more. I don't think Cooper Rush is a better QB than Dak, but I think the gameplans we had for Rush were better overall for the team. Get a physical back to punch defenses in the mouth and have a player like Pollard to punish them when they wear down while Dak spreads the ball around and drains the clock to keep the defense fresh. Having Dak go out there and "just sling it" like he's Mahomes will always leave our offense mistake prone.
Dak isn't going anywhere, sadly, he won't be traded and he certainly won't be cut - what we can do is reign him in.
