Getting some LB talent and depth needs to be one of the highest offseason priorities. By far the biggest weekness we have IMO. Can't expect 210lb guys to take on and shed blockers at this level and make the tackle.

The two guys that they planned on playing linebacker were on IR.

The guy they picked up off the streets that was an actual linebacker was worse than Bell, and was arrested and cut. Perfect storm.

But I agree that we need bigger guys that are actually built like linebackers and can attack those run fits.

Whatever Quinn saw in Marquese Bell...I have no idea....the guy ran around blocks all year...was a liability in coverage. And just got steamrolled yesterday. Wanna put a microcosm of the game yesterday? Just watch Bell the entire game...

It doesn’t really matter who plays LBer when the scheme calls for them to drop back 12 yards on the snap. No one is stopping the run that way.

It's built to look good, put up high numbers and bully poor teams.

When they get behind, punched in the mouth, they are cowards with fragile mentalities.

Yep, saw several plays from him that made absolutely no sense why he ran where he did as the play was already going somewhere else. He looked like Jaylin Smith trying to avoid contact.

yes Dan Quinn needs to go, I've been saying it all year his defenses are not what we expected and almost all of the losses you look and point out that the defense hardly put up a resistance at all they're opportunistic they're what we call boom or bust if they don't get a turnover or a couple big sacks in a game and make some stops that way they're not stopping anyone they got cover they can't stop the run they are almost as bad as Mike Nolan's defenses they're almost as bad as rod marinelli when they're not opportunistic but this is not a defense that you can say was great...

In most of those games how can our offense ever have had a chance to even try to make a comeback when they punt or you have a stalled drive or miss a field goal and then the defense immediately just gives up another seven points over and over and over all year long this defense hardly made a stand..

I know this is another team loss and people are gonna blame Prescott even though one of his interceptions his guy was mugged Brandon cooks was shoved and pulled out of the way to get that interception no call no big deal yes the pick six was brutal but this game got out of control because of the defense the defense was never gonna stop anyone so no matter what happens Prescott felt he needed to score on every drive the pressure became very heavy and don't say he can't play under pressure but you get desperate you start chucking the ball into tight windows when guys aren't even open that's what happens when guys are not open and you know you need 7 every time you touch the ball....

I don't think fans get that when an offense and when a quarterback and a coach who's calling plays realizes the defense is just not gonna show up that day and now they're desperate they get outside of their game plan and they start doing things in a high risk manner and this is how these games turned out this year in these losses against the 49ers the bills the Cardinals the defense never show never gonna make a stop or enough stops for the offense to even catch up So what does it matter..

The Seattle games are a perfect example we won that game despite of a really bad defense but if you expect your offense to be able to do that every game it's especially against a better team that's a problem with the fan base blame the quarterback yes we lost as a team no one played well but that defense was the main cause of the loss again all year these losses were mainly on the defense I'm not saying ohh but if you look at the key reason we lost it was the defense...

If Jerry truly did meddle, even he knows this was not going to work. He should have stepped in.

Quinn's scheme is terrible. Without a high-flying offense that scores at will and pressures the opponent's offense to become one-dimensional, the scheme typically breaks down. Unless of course they play a cupcake schedule.

We literally went into the season with 2 starting LB’s that have a surgically repaired back and a surgically repaired neck.

I mean the FO gets what it asks for.

Clark has a surgically repaired back. Jaylon had a destroyed knee. LVE has a surgically repaired neck.

They should maybe stop drafting hurt linebackers.
