We should obviously let Micah Play edge some, but switch in Sam Williams as well

I think Micah should obviously be used as a chess piece...but I think Sam Williams has elite speed and also is much stronger and would be better holding up against the run. Micah isn't going to get DPOY of the year nor should we force it (our defense is too stacked for that to happen)

His speed off the edge isn't Micah but he's 6'3 260 and runs a 4.5. He can scare teams with his speed off the edge too. This also gets makes your one lone meh group better The Linebakers

While we're at it. I am positive as good as this defense has been they would be even better with Kelvin Joseph and Daron Bland. I get KJ made a horrible mistake with the bad crowd..but with him in you get more speed, a stronger DB, a much better tackler and a physical presence on the edge.

Problem is the guys playing ahead of him are playing well. Coming into the game Fowler had 3 sacks in 127 snaps

• 1PD
• 2 TFL's
• 9 tackles

That's pretty impressive and deserving of a bit more playing time but the others (Micah, D-Law, Folwer) are doing impressive stuff too. The edge rushing room is stacked!

Seems pretty obvious. Put Parsons on the edge on clear passing downs, let Armstrong and Williams take the edge on run/pass downs.

Really great to have depth at DE. .

Ok then dorance leaves and sam is starting. I dont understand the hard on to argue. Dorance has actually had one of the lowest pass rush win rates on our defensive line. He just is able to get home when he does win a pass rush.

I wasnt agruing. I was just pointing out Fowler's contract is up before Armstrongs. Starting doesnt mean mucj anyways. Who is playing on 3rds means more than who is starting the game. I don't see Williams being off the field many 3rd downs next year.

Armstrong is ok as far rotational pass rushers goes. He is more a a product of who is playing with than anything else. If teams werent as locked on Parsons as they are, he wouldnt be getting the production he is getting
