We waited until the playoffs to unveil new things?

I saw several new things we didn't see much of in the season.

1. We saw Connor in the backfield
2. They talked about having zeke and pollard on the field this season, they did at the beginning of the season, midway through the season they didn't do it anymore
3. I've been critical on Micah, I've seen some GREAT pass rush moves tonight from him, instead of him just rushing up field, taking himself out of the play. He actually used a spin move, as well as several great moves to rush INSIDE the tackle, instead of outside! Kudos to him!

I agree: To me, last week at Washington was treated like a preseason game, maybe even a few games before that: They were set on being the 5 seed and went vanilla.

That's exactly what they should do.

They used motion all night, which they haven't done nearly as much during the regular season.

They schemed around Gallup, and their young TEs enough to open up the offense for everyone else.

They also mixed up formations and pitched it here and there, rather than just handing it off up the middle.

And they attacked the offensive line with Micah adding pressure up the middle at times. Great game by both Dan Quinn, but especially Kellen Moore tonight.

LVE should have made the pro bowl. He's been solid all year. But yeah, great game tonight.

I expect it to continue for playoffs. I suspect he was rested up for the playoffs because he's so key to the defense. Loved how they had him in pass defense some tonight. He got close to having a pick twice.

I saw Maher unveil some new things.

His streak of missed FGs is now 5.
That's got to be an all-time record.

On the last one, I can't understand why they're not going for 2. Expected points is about the same as a *normal* PAT try, but clearly Maher just had a problem.
Go for 2.

I liked the new wrinkle but Connor in the backfield on run plays was a disaster. Dude didn't block anyone lol The runs were stuffed. But the offensive gameplan was on point. Started slow. But then picked up steam.
