Wow it's crazy you and I are on the same page the last couple days I was about to post this why not you have an excuse to pull brooks and not embarrass him just say he's injured and let's see flow it's time to see the flow... I mean how worse can it get at you know 3 through 6 as our wide receivers in training camp I saw they were bunched together anyway but the one guy that looked like he had pro potential he reminds me of miles Austin is boring really reminds me of a young Michael Gallup before the injury and that would be Flournoy...

But I gotta go back to what I was harping on earlier with deuce Vaughn and all that misuse of Turpin I don't know who you bring in if Mike McCartney's gonna continue to call and create game plans like this this is terrible this is like watching paint dry the vanilla just it just seems like he brings in those scripted 15 plays for the game and then he runs them all game like over and over like it's in a loop it's not like he's looking at the game flowing and trying to change the games both games just didn't look right.... I remember him doing this last year and it took till after the San Francisco game for him to open up the offense and I don't get what he's looking at last game he had the opportunity to try to push the ball deep and just didn't so maybe bringing in another wide receiver can help but I'm not sure it can I'm starting to really get down on Mike McCarthy the play caller....

I can't remember does Flournoy play STs? We don't "need" 5 active WRs so while I am hoping he gets a chance I wouldn't say it's a slam dunk unless he runs down on kickoff and/or punt teams

I like pulling Brooks off the GameDay roster for a week to see what Flournoy can bring, and to be honest it should stay that way due to upside.

Mazi is simply a poor draft pick, and the FO didn't want to admit it, so they doubled down (like always) and didn't address the position properly (like always). Cowboys are screwed at DT.

that would be a major concern I know people don't like mazi but why would you put Phillips on IR if you thought he really wasn't hurt he's saying he's not hurt the Cowboys are saying in the game he received a look at his wrist and they believe his wrist was tweaked that doesn't mean he should be on IR however if you're gonna be short Mazi you should've let Phillips have at least one more game to redeem himself

it makes no sense to short yourself a player because he played horribly in game one, when now you don't have two of your nose tackles?

In this game our linebackers better be ready and I'm talking about maintaining your lanes doing your assignments don't overrun plays, and yes you need to go after the RPO ,and pick the right guy, but you can't over pursue...

you have to make sure you make your reads that your coordinator called the play because they're breaking down a lot of game from last week and there was a lot of motion and some of them linebackers and safeties didn't move to a spot where they were supposed to and that's where all these gaps came from this had nothing to do with mike zim....h play and many of them were at a position..

In my gut I think watching all the film this week this was a new defense and a bunch of new players trying to fit into a new scheme and go against that Saints team that knew what was coming because Kubiak knew Mike Zimmer and they just didn't make the adjustments and I believe that's easier to fix than just saying our players can't play I think they can play I think they just made a really lot of bad reads and didn't put themselves in position they were all off a step and it left wide open holes for the run game..

So I say it's fixable and we're gonna see a better game when we win I don't know but we will see a better game especially out of the linebackers and safeties they need to do their job especially when they're playing zone on knowing where they're supposed to be...
