Good for you, brother! I imagine your wife must have been pretty rough, if she didn't win. The courts almost always prefer to give the kids to the mother, unless she's an absolute piece of crap
Some ex-spouses may not be able to afford keeping the child/children. Or, they also could have an addiction etc....

If a person is what you had stated, they certainly didn't choose to be one on purpose. Each situation is different and unfortunately, the children are always the ones to suffer.

I hear what you're saying, but any time I've ever seen the mother lose custody, it was because she very clearly didn't deserve to have children. Even if the father was the better choice, as long as the mother wasn't an extremely poor choice, she won.

I'm telling you from past experience, just because you won full custody you're a man so it's never set in stone permanently. My brother had full custody of his son, but his ex-wife came from lots of money and her family kept taking him to court to get more and more from him. He was a blue collar guy and eventually he lost custody of his son because he could not afford to keep going to court. If he was a woman he would seriously have to screw up to even remotely thinking he would lose custody of his son. As a father in SC he never had the reassurance he would keep his son.

Because of her actions I have a 3 year old girl in counseling for PTSD symptoms. I doubt she gets her back anytime soon.

And won custody of my kids. I feel great and glad this is over.
Congrats, I need adoption and adult supervision and will serve as a wonderful sibling to your kids. I don't have any bad habits, um, many bad habits and your children could do a lot worse than learning to enjoy the subtle nuances of single malt scotches and since spring is upon us, the finer points of high end botanical gins. The cigars are a given but only hand rolled, none of that machine made crap wrecking the minds of our young people. If this works out, I shall call you Father Four and add a formal air to our family like the guy on Family Affair.

Let me know if this is amenable to you and your address, I stay perpetually packed and ready to travel.

Happened to me, I had my daughters kindergarten and 1st grade teacher testify for me, a psychologist state the ex may be bipolar based on the evaluation. The judge eventually bought into that "the dughter should be with her mother as they enter puberty." Cost $150K to go through a 2 week trial and get a verdict that was already predetermined.

Happy for OP...maybe that is the one thing that is changing better for the guys
