Not impacted by the fires as in our homes in danger, but the Bay Area has definitely been affected by poor air quality due to all the smoke, ash, et cetera.

We're being told that "there is no immediate threat" but to be ready to evacuate. The air quality is terrible and it's eerie looking outside. Kind of a reddish tint and the sky looks like a total cloud cover, but it's smoke.

I'm sure it's not but not much we can do about it. At least it has cooled off enough that we can keep all the windows closed. Most houses up here in the mountains including mine don't have air conditioning.

Well, things had looked a little better here in Southern California for the last couple of days but today the sky is literally purple from the fires and there is a distinct smell of smoke in the air. I had a couple of guys working on the house and they just told me they were cutting it short because they could hardly breathe. I really need to start planning my escape from this place.

Boise has been getting hit with smoke pretty good. Not quite as bad as some areas, but it's here. Sucks. Just feels dirty outside.

Speaking of California in the comments above, somebody in my drone group shared these pictures of San Fran like 4-5 days ago.
