What’s your general sense of your fandom/the franchise/this season?

Kind of a vague topic but I guess the question is what are you all about this year? You hoping dak is gone? You think this team needs to fire McCarthy and replace him with Moore? You think this team has a potentially dominant defense and you’re excited?

How ya feeling about all this

1). Dak is a top 10 quarterback. Only haters think otherwise & wish him gone. Dallas would be lost without him.

2). Moore has been exposed several times last season. He has top talent players & is useless w/his playbook. Him becoming a HC is a joke. He's Garrett's 8-8 seasons clone. Moore needs to be on the hot seat.

3). MM had a rough start taking over as HC due to the pandemic. You can only do so much w/what you have. He has proven himself the following season by doubling the wins, division title & playoff birth. He's the least on my mind.

4). Tyrone is a huge loss, but his body is telling him it's time to hang up the cleats. All great players started as rookies & thus I really think the young Tyler Smith will be Tyrone's replacement, permanently.

Top Needs: Backup quarterback & Kicker

It's ridiculous hiring back Maher & DiNucci after releasing them. They're both awful at their respective position.

Tyron is still relatively young for an OT. But despite his body being in excellent shape he is just prone to injury for some reason. I don't think Tyron will retire. The Cowboys are going to have to make the decision to move on without him. I doubt Jerry will do that.

I would add to your list that despite my optimism about some of the young players the team is worst this year than last and they are going against stronger teams in the NFC East. The Cowboys front office needs to get serious about strengthening their roster or the Eagles, who have already passed them are going to dominate the division for the next 5 or 6 years.

OL, more on the left side is the biggest concern. K is next. As to being consistent.
I am still not high on Moore always doing the right thing or making adjustments.

What I did like from Moore in the PS games is what I been saying, use that roll out play to the right and pass to the TE. However will he use it in regular season games now or go away from it.
He needs to use more crossing routes as well.

Defense looking pretty good, even the depth looked decent in the PS games. Looked like they knew their assignments.
Wright looked the worst to me. And then he did have a few good plays.

Offense will look much better once the starters are out there.

My feelings are that as long as Jerry is large and in charge this team will never advance very far in the post season.
Jerry simply lacks the skill to build a serious contender.
Exhibit One :
Left Tackle.
Tyrone has not played a full season in 6 years.
We had no proven back up talent at swing tackle.
So what does Jerry do ?
He ignores the problem.
Now it blows up predictably and we have no answers.
Serious contenders don't operate this way.
Jerry has been smart enough to retain Will Mcclay so we have great drafts which
keeps us good enough to challange for the NFC East, but that's the ceiling of a Jerry GM Cowboys Team.
27 years of this proves the point.

I’m excited to see our defense and see if they can drag us into the playoffs. Everything else seems up in the air right now.
