We all know the defense has to be almost totally rebuilt and there is a new for a future starting Left Tackle. Not all needs can be addressed with premium selections. What are your top 3 priority need positions you would like the team to fill?

Free Safety (Kazee is coming over major surgery, vital position for the Cover 3 Scheme to work)
Corner (Think we would all like to see Anthony Brown in a more reserve role)
1T DT (Team has to do a better job of keeping their backers clean and must improve stopping the run)

WR, TE, RB

The top "needs" are probably in the secondary, but even if the first two rounds produce say, Surtain amd Grant, does it really make much of a difference until the DL plays more effectively?

Those two would look very much like the rookies they are, and why it's so unreal absurd that this team counts on the draft for immediate help as much as they do.

DT--CB--LB

1)trade back--DT--Christian Barrimore
2) SS-- Andre Cisco
2) OT/OG--Teven Jenkins
3) LB--Baron Browning
3) CB--Kelvin Joseph
4) QB--Davis Mills
4) TE--Noah Gray
5) WR--Dazz Newsome
5) CB--Camryn Bynum
6) DT--Isaiah Loudermilk
6) LB--Monte Rice
7) DT/DE--LaRon Stokes

Just because we have positions of need doesn't mean we need to take high picks at those positions. Sometimes it maybe better to double dip at a position of need.

In no particular order...

DT
LB
DB

Run defense was the biggest weakness of the team last year. If we don’t walk away from this draft with a LBr and a DT in the first few rounds that’d be disappointing.

Should’ve done more in FA IMO.

Im with you on this. LB is #4 considering Jaylon and LVE probably wont be Cowboys in 2022

Alot of turnover in the secondary the last couple years. At the S position we went into the offseason with just Wilson under contract (unless you count Robinson)

If they are willing to commit to Cooper we still can. However, outside of Richardson, I don't see much left. I do think Richardson could wind up a post draft target if we dont draft an expected contributor at DT

Think for this yr, they need a quality depth player who is capable of spot starting. Next yr, could become the #1 need if they don't pick up Lve's option and release Jaylon.

Who is your linebacker target after rd 1, assuming Parsons, JOK, Collins and Davis are off the board? 1 Tech is a must if they truly want to fix their run defense.

CB
DT
Safety

And LB, O Line depth and Edge.

I think maybe we should trade some of our late round picks or even a future 3rd/4th to try to add one more 3rd round pick. I think the LB and OT classes are good and deep.

Ive read that in the building its more pressing that people realize. However you know how those kind of leaks are. Always need to take them with a grain of salt.

I wish their visits were more publicized this year. Not only is that a window into who they like in the draft, but also a window into what they think of the roster. We know they like Collins. But that tells us they like Collins. Its still conjectural as to how they view the position right now. If we know they have had visits with 4 or 5 guys, that helps confirm reports that they veiw the position as a major need

Based on the class, a 1 Tech probably doesn't get selected to the 3rd rd at the earliest. Definitely the defensive backs will improve our defense, as I believe they gave up the most TD passes in the entire league. I agree, they have to fix the run defense, but probably to more mid day 2.

I agree, think the need is more pressing inside their building. Kind of weird that they passed on KJ Wright, perhaps maybe they want to see what happens in the draft first. Heard recently on the draft show, Broaddus hearing Parsons is probably not in play at 10, they would be interested in a trade up for Collins. Helmen said hearing whispers that they are looking at Linebackers much higher then he would like. Could they rumor be accurate, the one about looking at Collins, Jamin Davis at 10? Kyle Yulmans said they were not going to take OL and are looking at several day 2 linebackers. Of coarse, take everything with a grain of salt, but think all this smoke is leaning towards a linebacker either day 1 or 2. Both Lve & Jaylon should be motivated as one will be gone next season if they use a high pick on another linebacker.
