What are your top 3 priority draft needs to fill?

The top "needs" are probably in the secondary, but even if the first two rounds produce say, Surtain amd Grant, does it really make much of a difference until the DL plays more effectively?

Those two would look very much like the rookies they are, and why it's so unreal absurd that this team counts on the draft for immediate help as much as they do.

I'm kind of lost in this draft. I want a CB bad, but not at 10. Same for a FS.
I would take a stud DT at 10 just because I don't think we know how to pick the position. Wrong draft for that, though.
As far as CBs usually not clicking in year 1, we need better than what Byron was to help mask the rest of our D & I'm willing to wait for him to develop.

As much as I want to disagree and despise the trading down for a second/third round pick. I can’t help but wonder if we traded down and drafted the right pass rusher Paye/Phillips and a defensive tackle Baremore/Williams plus a second round cornerback/3rd round safety if the team would be better off. I just know the Cowboys would draft another Taco.

I think they will view CB, LB, and DT as the biggest needs this year.

For me specifically, it's 1TDT, FS and DE. Not that disagree that upgrades at LB and CB are 2 huge needs for this team, but if you get a high quality starter at each of those positions listed above, I think the LB's and CB's would be fine, even though I'd still draft them in the mid rds.

The Cowboys need to upgrade the defense, CB (simply because they don't have enough starting caliber CBs), DT and OT are the 3 most important positions that need an upgrade or depth. Then LB, DE, S.

The best draft would be to find a starting CB, an instinctive Safety, a pocket pushing DT, and an OT who can start at LG this year and move to OT is La'el or Tyron get hurt.
