What capable and sane coach would be crazy to be HC here in 2025?

Capable is the key word, me lads.

I can think of 3 HC I'd like to see in Dallas.
Problem is, they are sane and would NOT want to come to this team in disarray and a couple of divas.
(I am looking at you, Micah, CeeDee and maybe Diggs.)
Also, what HC would want to work with Yoda?
There's the rub.

One that is currently watching every NFL play of the 2024 season in his basement.

The line is long with coaches that would love the Cowboys HC job.
You really believe that? I don’t. This place has become a graveyard for HCs. And the 82 year old crazy owner/GM who controls everything that matters is like the kiss of death if you want to win a championship.

I‘m serious when I say…please convince me I’m wrong.

Yes I do because the Cowboys HC job is regarded by many as the most coveted. There’s a number of places that have become graveyards for coaches. Most of the other places, coaches get fired well before their contracts are up. Jerry has only fired one coach during the season and the last two made it to the end of the end of their contracts. He does give his coaches a chance, unlike some teams that pull the trigger after 2-3 seasons.

Why is being in Dallas coveted now? Maybe 25 years ago…now? This organization is one of only two NFC teams who haven’t won a divisional playoff game this century. Even the great Bill Parcells in 4 years here never won a single playoff game.

I‘m not being argumentative. I’m just curious why being here in Dallas would be so coveted? There are a at least ten other franchises where you would have a much better shot to win a championship. Here? It’s almost the opposite.

Why is being in Dallas as the 16th highest paid HC in the NFL with an 82 year old out of touch GM coveted?

Despite the lack of success the past 29 years the Cowboys are still America’s Team. The organization is still the most popular and polarizing team in the league. The Cowboys are the richest franchise and have the most powerful owner. They get more media coverage than any team. They draw the highest ratings. Everything I mentioned is why their HC position is the most coveted.

There's not enough room in Dallas for a real head coach, Jerry, and jerry's liver.
