Assuming the Eagles win, who would you rest the final week? I think they should let the starters play the first half then pull them.

I would play every starter all 4 quarters and hope the game goes into overtime so they can play more.

if the egakes lose you play to win, if the eagles win you asit all core players, as many as possible but still have team to failed. i do Not want to see any starters as we saw close calls with Dak, zach, sam, and we still don't know how bad Tylers ankle is.. nope sit them ALL if they game has no meaning. they need a mental and physical break if they can get one. Its their BYE. Heck we could still win the game with Rush, Malik, and some backups against Washington. Not unheard of.

Would you play Prescott?
NOPE not if its meaningless. You see him limp off that one play Zach limp off Tyler hurt NO hell NO no core starters start a meaningless game especially with some of our backups like Rush , malik etc etc can give fight to team like Washington.

My only issue is if we do rest the starters is the game rust. Since we're not sure what day our wildcard game is on they can potentially go 15-17 days not playing. I hate that there is a Monday wildcard game now, just kinda worried about them possible being rusty

Rest the guys who are banged up and hurting and could benefit from a week off.

If the player is fully healthy (nfl week 17 fully healthy)

Let them play at least the first half.

if the eagles win i would legit play the ENTIRE practice squad....not one starter or backup would play and a handful of 3rd stringers may play

the injuries are piling up

nope not concerned they played the entire game last night , now if they would have pulled guys early in a blowout maybe but 100% no question if the game means nothing you pull as many as you can.. rust i mean the bYE is always coveted and we can create our mini-bye.

cant rest everyone but risk of injury is more important than alleged rust.

I don't think we can assume the Eagles win against a desperate Saints team. In fact I wouldn't be shocked to see see the Eagles lose, then their game against the Giants next week gets flexed to a later game while the Cowboys play the Commanders in an earlier game. This forces all teams to not rest starters and creates more interest.

If the NFL is rigged like some conspiracy theorists think, this is a great time to pull one out on fans, lol.

In the event the Eagles win this week I think you intend to give the starters a quarter or two to get some positive momentum rolling. If they come out sluggish I think they end up playing longer. I would also strongly consider resting some of the banged up guys. That would give them 2.5 weeks of rest to the 1st playoff game.

It's a question of sharpness. Do we come out in the playoff game playing like a sloppy wet noodle or a solid spoke on a rim? Perhaps the starters should play at least a half and then rest.

Last thing I want to hear is any excuse about us not being sharp and resting starters the last game being a possible culprit to a one-and-done exit. Yea...no! Not on my watch! ;)
