What do you think of Tommy Togiai

We need beef.

Woods cannot be our biggest guy on the inside.

I personally like Shelvin with one of our picks in the 3rd.

He's an undersized 1T who gives you zero on passing downs. Not particularly high on him, despite the team's interest and his performance on the bench press. If they are looking at a 1T, McNeill would be better (better size against the run, better wiggle to develop as a pass rusher). As a pure run stuffer, Shelvin is the best bet (though he has a lot of warts). Bobby Brown is the quintessential boom or bust guy at the position.

Have you actually watched Togiai? He had something like six sacks in a shortened Big Ten season. Dude benched 40 times, and he's powerful at the point of attack. Was the best defensive player in the Clemson game.

Perfect experienced 1 tech. Love to get him with one of our 3rds

Yes - I watched all of Ohio State's games last season. He has very short arms, and is not a pass rusher - any production he would get would be using a bull rush and cleaning up. He had 3 sacks last year.

I can't speak for him, but I did watch him & agree with his analysis. He actually had three sacks & all three of them came against Penn State. The other games I watched he was ineffecient at best.

I have a 4th round grade on him, but due to sheer ranking that means he's essentially a third round value. At the end of the day, it's the same NT conundrum we always face; the value is limited for the price you have to pay to get one. You just wish that they'll finally pull the trigger & get one.

His highlights look good. For a guy who provides minimum pass rush though, his value is slightly diminished. But every team needs a guy who makes it difficult to run up the middle on. Especially in a DT group rotation. Probably a late Friday pick or early Sat pick though.

They need to take a chance at finding a diamond in the rough at DT because it is a position of serious need and this is a draft that on the surface is weak at the position. I like Togiai because I like strong guys in the middle of both lines. But I would probably go in a different direction in the early 3rd round.

He is a guy that we have shown alot of interest in. Most likely a 3rd rounder. What are your thoughts on potentially drafting him
Not really thrilled about him. He reminds me of Stephen Paea just a strongman playing football. Limited athlete

He'd be No. 1 on my list tomorrow, followed by Marvin Wilson. If either makes it to our pick, I'd snatch them up. But I'm clearly out of touch with what this team values.
