What do you think will happen if they lose today or next week?

Lose Today... quickly find out the Belichick rumor from Adam S. and Florio was true.
Lose Next Week... Jerry sits and thinks about it, talks with players, but probably goes same direction
Lose in NFC Championship.... Big Mac comes back, DQ gets a promotion
Lose in Super Bowl.... same
Win in Super Bowl..... Nirvana

Depends on how we lose. I'm glad Dak and Mike haven't been extended yet. I love my team so I'm not a fan of just being a fan of one player/coach on our team. If another of Mike's clock errors costs us this game, fire him. Same with Dak. Let him test the market.

So what if its the defense fault? I see you didnt mention them.

Let Quinn walk. If Parsons is a no-show again, like he was in all three of his previous playoff games, trade him to wherever Quinn goes to for a Hershal Walker type trade.

Did I fail to mention anything else? No use in saying get rid of our GM because that won't happen.

Cowboys win it all.

Immediately after a core of 25 or so of the most obnoxious fans on this board use hindsight to berate, belittle and insult the so-called haters for their "stupidity" for weeks on end, skirting group rules on the edge of getting banned but getting away with it. Then we start talking about the draft :)

The road to the NFCG right now is insanely favorable to the Cowboys. Based on the matchups potentially the most favorable I've ever seen, and that counts years they had 1st Seed. If this team can't get to the NFCG with the path it has right now, it's not ever going to do it and there's no point in doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.

It is our best chance since the last time we won it.
  • Top 5 ranked offense (#1 in scoring)
  • Top 5 in Total Defense---1st time in 20 years entering playoffs
  • Home Game (huge) vs an ok but not great opponent in WC
  • Home Game (hugex2) vs possibly a worse opponent in Rd 2
  • A Head Coach that is better than JG or Phillips
  • A QB who is playing great AND who is now very experienced.(unlike 2007 or 2016)

It is lined up to at least get to the NFCCG

I absolutely agree with you. The original post was about Dak and Mike. Defense wasn’t mentioned.

Cowboys continue the home team rout theme in this year's playoffs and beat the Packers handily.

Everyone says this is the Cowboys best chance to make it to the Super Bowl. Playing at home. What do you think will happen if they lose today or next week?

..hope is our best friend, of course.

Then you have the team. Where are they mentally? How bad do they want this?
It's a collective effort. Right now, Dak is dialed in. He's at the perimeter of knowing, what is the real prize.
Someone like Micah, unfortunately don't think he does. He's young.

Dak just hit 30. Been around a while.
Knows these opportunities, are gifted by chance. You go all out or fade away.

If the Cowboys lose, life goes on quite splendidly for the Joneses. For true blue Cowboys fans, there's no joy in Mudville! :omg:

I'm thinking one game at a time. Clearing this hurdle today is the only thing that needs to focused on for now.
