What does Quinn like about Jayron Kearse to play him so much?

He is terrible. I believe he is like the 94th rated safety out of 95 safeties lol.
That is terrible.

Why do we give him so much playing time?
He is a 29 year old vet who is slow and probably the least athletic person on the football field other than the DT's and offensive lineman.
I am sick of seeing him Jogging around making zero plays. (maybe he is running but he runs so slow it looks like a jog).

I rather see Juanyeh Thomas. I know he missed tackles vs the Bills but I rather see a young guy out there with a chance to improve then a old vet making rookie mistakes and giving it 50% effort.

Looks like Quinn's brain is still stuck in 2021, would make sense considering he hasn't made any adjustments since. At least Kearse will scram soon, he really does suck.

Mukuamu played terrific at the end of the season last year. I’m confused why he hasn’t seen more playing time over Kearse and Wright.
I was surprised to see Wright on the field. He's been trash and will continue to be trash. Kearse I think was a good player in the past, but he's fallen way off. Thomas should definitely be on the field much more. To be honest all the safeties have been bad, really really bad.

Hooker is by far the best at covering deep. I’d keep him. Kearse and Wilson have fallen off a cliff. The nice 1-2 year run is over. Ideally J. Thomas starts next season and Bell moves to more of a LB/S hybrid role.
Assuming Overshown is healthy, we need another legitimate starter at LB to pair with him.

I think Bell should take over Kearse’s role next season. We should be looking for a LB help.

Kearse appears to have regressed athletically.

He is a S more than a CB but I don't understand why we haven't seen haven't seen more of him either.

I think they need to go OL in the draft and get another LB and DT thru free agency. We can wait 3 years for a guy to possibly develop at DT. Seems like since Tristen Hill they been playing catch up to the position.
