You're an outside FA, what would draw you to want to be a Dallas Cowboy? Of course the first thing would be is the money that the owner spends. Then on the other hand, the owner chooses not to spend money, how would that be appealing to any free agent that wants to come here.

Sure you have a guy like Micah Parson's that would be attractive sounding to play with, but he wants a new deal and says he'd be willing to take less if the owners were willing to negotiate in a timely manner to get things done to sign outside players.

Do we have any other players on this team that would make outside players would love to come to Dallas and play with. Look at the Deebo Samuels trade, look at the rookie sensation of a QB in this past season. Seeing how the Commanders played, they only are seemingly on the rise as a team.

Some players will say it's the no state tax, I get that. Some will say the "history" of this franchise. The history is good, but the present is lacking fully!!!! Please give your thoughts, WHY would an outside FA want to play here????

Being a player on the Cowboys, especially a star player, will increase their brand exposure which leads to a lot of revenue opportunities beyond their contract. That's what makes smaller market teams less attractive even when they offer comparable contracts to players.

Because the Cowboys games always generate a lot of views by fans and haters, it means players on the Cowboys gain the benefit of high exposure every week for themselves and their personal brand.

Even the non-star players become targets for business and sponsorship deals which is probably why we are able to bring in a lot of lower tiered and oft-injured players with lowballed contracts.

One thing that I didn't mention good point to bring up! Just hearing this though makes me think of money money money, I wish winning could be added in there somewhere bud!

Country club, no accountability
Yup. I worked on a show that my boss jokingly referred to as "the sauna". We had it so efficient that it wasn't work anymore, we showed up and it was done. Cowboys are "the sauna". Show up, don't have to work, collect money. That's the appeal. (Of course they aren't efficient and didn't earn it, but it's the same culture).

Even David Irving had a local commercial in the DFW area.

The glamor, the lower expectations, the branding. The side marketing deals of being a cowboy.

Players don't really want to play here, their agents just like mentioning the Cowboys during their contract negations to squeeze more money out of their current team.
