CFZ What I feel good about vs the Bills and what I feel iffy about

Feel good about:

1. Bills are a QB reliant team. Josh Allen has to do much too much every single week. Make him pull out maximum effort on every play and we'll get turnovers on him or some negative play. Dallas is a different team when we get turnovers.

2. Weather. It's still not too cold in Buffalo. Maybe 35 degrees next Sunday? I'll take that.

3. Ferguson > Kincaid. Will Fergie show up on the road tho? Not sure, but he had his best game on the road vs the Eagles on Nov 5 so it's possible he stays hot.

4. At this point, Stefon Diggs is not CD Lamb. He might be Brandin Cooks tho. Their best receiver = our #2? I'll take that.

5. Their defense looks like hot garbage towards the end of the game. They totally collapse, like they did against the Eagles. And we all remember the divisional game vs KC. It's their tendency.

6. They have no identifiable defensive star. The great teams move the ball on them usually. Maybe Von Miller, but he's not elite anymore and he missed a game ending tackle against the Bengals.

Feel iffy about:

1. Even if Josh Allen is doing too much, he still makes plays when it looks like it's not there. Give up one...maybe two? I'll take it. But can't let him do it repeatedly. He made a tremendous fade play vs the Chiefs falling near out of bounds that really changed the complexion of the game.

2. We don't play well on the road, but I'll take an ugly win next week. I don't feel we'll look as good as we did in the last 3 games tho. Road games seem to be our Achilles.

3. Huge homecourt advantage. While we may have the crowd advantage in Carolina or Arizona, I don't feel like we're gonna have it this game. But the good thing is Bills fans get dejected easily, so make them not wanna be there early on, and I think it's to our advantage if Josh Allen feels like he has to dig himself out of a hole.

4. Fear of a sluggish offensive effort. I do believe our offense might come down to earth a little in a game like this in an unfamiliar stadium. Just run the ball, live on 3rd and 3 and 4 and keep their defense on the field, they'll eventually wear down. But if we do for some reason have a sluggish offensive game, Allen might have just enough to pull this out.

5. Fear of Allen scrambling. He makes his best plays scrambling. We need to stay with their receivers and not give up on coverage just because we see him scrambling. I much rather give up 7 yards than 70 on one play. Make them sustain a long drive, they'll eventually make a mistake or we'll get them to 3rd and long which is the main down. We feel good about our chances on 3rd and long.

6. Fear of over arrogance. We're all feeling good right now. I can see the smiles on all our players' faces. I can see our fans getting excited. I can see national media hyping us up. But don't start feeling too good. Don't start thumping our chests yet. Recognize the Bills are a different team that plays differently and brings about different matchups than the Eagles, tho they might not be necessarily better.

That's what I have to say about next week. It's a highly anticipated game for me. Possibly the most anticipation I've felt besides the Niners or Jets game.

Allen turns the ball over. We need to be on that for the best chance to win. If we can get up on them early by a couple of scores then we can settle in to our best game plan.

I’m happy Buffalo is coming off a win. They may still be kinda desperate as they are on the cusp of falling out of the playoffs but coming off a loss they’d really be throwing the kitchen sink at us

Frustrate Diggs and he starts pouting. Diggs gets into Josh's head on the sideline and then Josh starts trying to force the ball to Diggs. Bills then lose. Story of their season. They were lucky Toney is a dunce or they would be back to .500

You can run on the Bills. Their safeties are better in coverage.

Allen will throw at least 2 INT. That's gonna be the difference in the game.

One game at a time.

Tackling Allen is my biggest fear. Dude is a monster like Big Ben back in the day

The key for Buffalo is always Allen's dumb throws. If Dallas picks him off a few times, they could blow them out. If Buffalo keeps the dumb plays in check this is going to be a tough game. Buffalo is the anti-Philadelphia and has had a lot of bad luck. They should have beat Philly in Philly just like Dallas.

Team Record Point diff
Dallas 10-3 +188
SF 10-3 +175
Baltimore 10-3 +143
Miami 9-3 +118
Buffalo 7-6 +104
KC 8-5 +64
.... 4 teams
Philadelphia 10-3 +21

The Cowboys just faced a shorter Josh Allen.
Hurts and Allen are both uber talented, winning pieces but will press and turn the ball over.

Bills are basically Eagles that have lost some 1 score games. They have been in NINE 1-score games going 3-6. If this was the Cowboys the entire universe would blame Dak for that but Josh has been good enough in individual moments to quiet the haters.

Doesn't look like weather will be an issue at all and it is outdoors but a turf field.
Bills defense is even more reliant on sacks/pressure than Dallas but keep games tight.

Allen will be the best quarterback Dallas will face to date.

Need a great performance from Bland and Gilmore.

Josh Allen running around and making some ridiculous plays should really be priority 1 2 and 3. He's their only weapon right now - Diggs' game has really, really fallen off.

Ed Oliver is their only real difference-maker on defense, Dallas should be able to move the ball pretty well. Going to be a shootout if JA doesn't turn the ball over.

Buffalo seems like a more physical team that can run on Dallas and I'm uneasy about a Cowboys defense that relies so heavily on turnovers. They're not always going to get those.

I think we’re gonna lose in Buffalo and possibly in Miami. AFC road games are always a major challenge and the Buffalo weather will really effect our offense negatively. We’ll put up points vs Miami but that game is likely a shoot-out.

I’m not gonna be surprised if we lose both games and to be honest as long as we’re competitive in both, I’ll feel ok about it.

Josh Allen could absolutely toss 5 picks vs this defense

he could also toss 3 touchdowns and run for 2 more

U need too add no Hankins to that list. Teams are going to try and run on us and test mazi…he may do fine but it’s certainly an unknown right now
