As of now, it looks like the Cowboys need massive improvements to even be a fringe playoff contender. Losing to SF without Aiyuk and McCaffrey hammered that home. I think what we should do is lay some foundation for the future some places, and see what do or dont have others
- I would play both Tyler's at OT for the rest of the season.
In can go either way in which side you play them. This should be your present and future
- In conjunction with that that move, give Bass a long look at LG.
If after a few games you arent seeing the upside, play Richards there
- Move Mazi around the interior.
Play him at 1T and 3T. See what if any improvement and impact he makes. Its not like we have much else standing in his way for snaps. However we get razor thin at DT after the season, and we need to know if he is a piece or not
-Play Flourney over Brooks. And maybe even Cooks.
Brooks has gotten a steady diet of snaps this year and done little to nothing with them. Cooks has looked washed this season. We should see if we have something in Flourney, who has a strong athletic profile.
- Make changes at S.
Get Thomas on the field. Hooker and Wilson look like shadows of themselves. Id like to see more of Thomas and Mukuamu at FS and Bell at SS.
- Move on from Elliott and Cook, and possibly poach some young backs off of someones PS.
Without looking it up, I dont know who. And I dont expect much. However we are getting nothing from the backs in hand, and I would turn every rock outside of giving up draft capital to see if we can find at least some decent depth.
