!. Fire Quinn and McCarthy
2. Hire ...I hate to say it being an Ohio State fan. Hire Harbaugh
3. Stuck with Dak one more year. Move Lance to my second-string quarterback. Trade Rush for whatever I can get. Get Lance ready for 2025. Don't re-new Dak.
4. I'd sign CeeDee...I would not re-sign Micha- He's going to be traded. I trade Martin also. Yep. heard me right. Trimming the fat and using those extra picks to rebuild. Defense again. Cutting all vets. Going with the young guys at this spot. Cutting as many of the front defense as I can. Trading Mazi for whatever I can get. Chips-dips whatever. This makes sense being I'm not re-signing Dak.
5.Drafting heavily on defense. Drafting dogs and avoiding any picks from the Big Ten. My first 2 year draft will all be on defense mainly with an Oline man here and there. I believe in the young guys we have at Oline now. Taht's why Martin is gone. Can you imagine the draft pick he will bring. Cutting T. Smith at LT. or seeing what I can get for him. When I get through trimming the "fat" I'm going to have plenty of cap room for which I'd use on select free agents. Dog free -agents. Not guys looking for a Tuesday check. Then I'd hammer home how wearing the STAR-it's a privilege and a heavy responsibility when it comes to success and what is expected of the guys picked to wear it.
6. Training Camp in Cailfornia...cancelled. We're going to be in the heat of Texas. I'd strip the Country Club setting in the Star to a lunch box type atmosphere. We going back to the basic........
7. But it isn't going to happen.....Jerry is only a salesman not a GM. Jerry is going to continue to sell every year that the team is close. No, we are not. Jerry is going to keep prostituting the team for profit with nothing to show for it on the field. Every time I see that fool on TV anymore, I change the channel as fast as possible. Anybody keep buying crap-going to the games to build his empire. That's on you..........I want be part of it anymore.....

P.S. Jerry Jones is Gilligan. From Gilligan Island. He will always stop us from getting off the Island. The Island of "average-do nothing-and false hopes". The Island- better known as The Dallas Cowboys.

Jerry won’t do any of those things. He likes his guys and doesn’t make trades unless it’s sending our first round picks for wide receivers. He simply doesn’t have what it takes to be a GM.

Don't trade Martin ever that's a Disrespect to him
Not worried about disrespect. Only winning. No more free checks for life in Dallas. You're here until we don't need you anymore. Like any other business. Football is a business-not a Country Club. Thanks Martin for the memories. But all things "must" end...

Can’t cut a guy that’s gonna be a FA
When fans propose cutting guys they should first look at the cap implications

That's the flaw with the whole plan. The only thing you can't do is give Dak one more year. He's $60MM against the cap this year so you have to decide right now if he's the future and extend him or if you're ready to move on.

Agreed...That's why you trade em the year before they hit FA...New England used to do it every season to turn their roster over in spots. It's silly to let a good or great player walk for free....

Dak..if I'm correct. Have one year left on his deal. Get a new coach in here-see what he thinks after a year with Dak. You have time to still re-sign him if that's your plan. I'd play hard ball with Dak. He has the mansion with the back yard field. You want to keep that or not?? I think he does and will take a lesser deal. If not???? Well...bye.... Lance time...

Yeah he has a year left, but the issue is his cap hit. He is set to count $60MM against the cap this year if you keep him on his current deal, and the Cowboys go into the offseaon already over the cap. I have no issues with the play hardball on a Dak extension, but reality is that discussion has to happen this offseason not next. As it stands now they can't keep him on the current contract and still improve the team.

I was talking about Tyron but he has no trade value. The most trade value is the guys on rookie deals as you point out. To me the best option there is bland. He’s never gonna have more value and Diggs is in a new contract so harder to trade. But I’d look at all 3rd years players. You are right that we tend to let guys walk for a comp pick and that’s silly. Sometimes though it’s because you don’t have a replacement waiting to step in
