What is Going on with the Offensive and Defensive Lines?

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this from an x's and o's standpoint instead of just saying a player is trash or something. It's so odd that the OL had their two worst games as soon as the 5 projected starters were finally together. I know the running game play calling is uninspired to say the least, but they can't run at all and Dak has been running for his life in the passing game. Are they being out-schemed? Are guys just getting beat? The interior pressure has been especially odd considering how good Martin, Tyler Smith, and Biadsz have been. Seems like that may be on Biadsz, especially last night.

The D-line was certainly better last night, but I've noticed the pash rush keeps getting washed past the QB, and mobile QB's especially are able to just move up in the pocket and scramble pretty easily. Additionally, when they blitz with a LB it almost never works to the point I think they are better off just rushing 4 and dropping the LB's back into coverage. The pressure in general just seems to be a mili-second too late pretty consistently, and Micah only has 1 or 2 sacks in the past 3 games. He seems most effective rushing up the middle last night. I'm pretty dumb when it comes to schemes but I'm just curious if there's something they can do to get more sacks. Sam Williams really needs to step up, I know that. Osa and D-Law have been pretty great.

Glad to get the W last night, and glad to see Dak finally carry the team. It's been the first time he's been the reason we won in some time, but if the running game and OL play doesn't significantly improve we won't make it very far. That's not even considering the vanilla and predictable offensive playcalling. Yeesh.

i think our secondary just makes it easier for teams to be able to get the ball out quicker. Our safeties arent as good and we are much weaker at corner now. Dline may also be playing the run more instead of undisciplined rushing the qb.

Oline no clue, philbin got a ton of flak for some reason but under solari this unit looks terrible. Id say age for some, but both tylers were above solid last year and look to be struggling this year.

The biggest problem with the OL is that defenses know exactly what the Cowboys are going to do. Predicting run/pass is so easy against this team. No OL can be successful in that environment.

The DL doesn't have any interior passrushers except Osa, doesn't matter how good the edge rushers are. But I don't think the passrush last night was that much of a problem, the ball was coming out pretty fast and it made it difficult to hit any big plays.

The D-line played great. Their success isn't measured in just sacks. Gilmore's INT would never happen if it wasn't for Herbert being pressured into throwing early. He had one of the highest pressure rates this week.

You realize pressure is essentially what won the game for the Cowboys last night, right? Herbert was hassled and hit all game long.

No arguments about the OL. But the DL other than the Arizona game has been well above average if not fantastic.

Definitely didn't mean to imply they weren't getting any pressure, it just feels like their pass rush is getting washed past the QB a lot more than it was in the first few games and they aren't winning from the edges nearly as much as they were.
