Ah hell. I meant cetacean, not pinniped. For those keeping score at home, a pinniped is a seal, sea lion, walrus, etc. Marine mammals who have "flippers".

A cetacean would be a whale, porpoise, or dolphin. This critter is most likely a species of that judging by the elongate nasal area of the skull and vertebral column exposed in the photos. The "fur" isn't fur, but tangled strings of any number of species of marine worms, bacteria, or other scavenger species.

It does have that porpoise look to it, especially the jaw.
