My friends and I made our yearly trip to a game this weekend. We recognized one of the songs played after a TD.... the one by the Burning of Rome. But we didn't recognize the country song that would also play. It was loud after a TD, all we could make out was it was something about Texas

Anyone know.

The entertainment and music is not as good as the old stadium.
Unless they got better since 2016.

PSA: turn on the music recognition feature of your iPhone or download shazam if no iPhone

Love this feature because I can never remember song names or artists

I miss the old Texas Stadium music in the 90s after a huddle, big play, or a td.

Never heard it, but I would have guessed God Blessed Texas.
they started playing this back in the 80s.
the tradition continued to my understanding thru the regimes.
i didnt know that they kept the tradition when we moved into the new stadium.
at least....thats what i was told.

i have heard god blessed texas on a few telecasts going into and coming out of commercial breaks...you could hear it being played in the background.

but if it was after a TD....my guess is he heard this tanya tucker song.

I was at maybe 30 games there and can only recall the team being introduced to the opening riff of Dire Straits' Money for Nothing.

Great band. The tempo of the song isn't their true sound, but the opening guitar riff would fire up anyone.
