What new wrinkles are you hoping to see coming out of the bye

Players get some time off but coaches continue to work. Having said that, would like to hear people's opinion on what they are hoping to see or new wrinkles to be added as this team comes out of the bye and what projections record wise do you foresee.

For me I would like to see a bit more involvement of Turpin in the offense, he is only getting 10% of the snaps on offense last 2 games but would like to see him involved in passing game

Predicted 7-2 record to finish reg season at 13-4

maybe not completely new, but the 13 personnel group was effective, apparently, according to those with the all 22. something like over 250 yards out of both multi tight end packages last game.

they also ran the hurry-up when the defense showed heavy run stop against those packages, so they passed out of them.

Just wondering will Cowboys show something different or unexpected that opposing teams have yet to see?

Was gonna say the same. Keep developing that 13 personnel. With good passing plays out of that it’ll be hard to scout us since it’s not a common personnel package to use often.

It would be great if they could stop the run. As it is the Eagles and the 49ers scare the crap out of me

More designated QB carries. Dak isn't the world's fastest but he's an effective runner and his 5 carries for a 6.8 average and 1 TD were about what I'd like to see in every game.

More interior blitzing from the SS position. With the pressure the DEs are creating off the edge a DE slant out should create a hole that I would think players like Kearse/Wilson would feed from.

Wildcat formation with both Turpin and Pollard in the backfield.

I want a fake punt sometime this season and I want Bossman to catch it. He's fast and Dallas needs to salvage what they can from the kid. Special teams ace is better than naught.

Would love to see Turpin used in the passing game, or see if James Washington can be a factor.

...getting Dak to run was huge. Some fake RPO's to Turps and fake end arounds loosens up the defense.

At least 1 or 2 defense players will commit to fakes.

While many have said send Turpin deep, I actually think he would be great with the screen. Get some blockers out in front let him find the lane and we know this kid has great moves and speed

I agree with getting Turpin involved more is a no brainer. However you always have to be mindful of getting him hurt if he winds up in too much traffic. But hell the kid's been playing football all his life and I seriously doubt he just started being the smallest guy on the field. I think he knows how to take care of himself and get on the ground or out of bounds without taking any big hits.. He's a weapon.. use him..

Agree would not look to overuse him but would like to show a few more wrinkles in the game plan that teams are not look for or have seen

There are ways to do that, picks would get him free but that is not in the cards. Even in the slot there are ways to get him involved. Not like asking him to play every snap. Not asking him to run Michael Irvin slants.

Besides using Turpin a lot more on offense, they can also use him as a decoy, turn him loose on deep patterns and his speed will take the CB and FS with him....opens up the passing game for the others. As for the defense, get Williams, Clarke and i would hope Cox eventually more involved. Would have more speed on defense and stronger on the run.

More diverse game plans from KM, other teams make adjustments.....he needs to do the same.

More passes to Pollard not just one a game, out in space where he can make a difference. More motion and misdirection plays would be nice. Turpin going out and catching passes and using his speed to full advantage a few. Continue using the two headed monsters in the backfield. Speed kills and we are not using it.
