We most likely would have had 15 picks in the 2009 draft. After the Roy Williams trade, we have 12 picks. I am a Roy Williams fan, so I am not too terribly upset over the trade. However, I feel we could have waited until after the season and gotten him, or we could have looked at a different WR option. I just hope that Williams can get healthy and get accustomed to our offense, cause I would hate for this to be Galloway Part 2. That trade still hurts us, IMO.

Even if we still had a 1st, I would consider trading down to the end of the round and acquiring more picks. I like how we used our picks last year to not only get quality players, but to also get future draft picks. That is what I would like to do with this draft as well.

I wonder if there players on our team, not considered in our long term plans, that we can trade for mid round picks?
