LVE - I feel like if he doesn't make a splash this could be it for him in Dallas.

Tyron Smith - If he can't stay healthy then I could see us looking towards a replacement. He's great, but he's not reliable.

Schultz - The Cowboys don't seem like they want to pay him anywhere near what he wants, so if he doesn't have a great season I could see him gone.

Kellen Moore - Let's be real, nobody is ecstatic about him, and I feel if the offense is bad he's going to be the scape goat.

Mike McCarthy - I know what Jerry said, but I don't believe a word of it. Everything McCarthy does this year will have "What would Peyton have done?" attached to it.

Mods:

The title was supposed to be "What Players And Coaches Seem Like They're In Their "Last Chance" Year?"

If you could fix fix it that would be great. Thanks!

i think this list is generally right. I think smith is back unless he retires. I do think we draft his replacement or the LG replacement for the other smith if they move him over

I don't know. Fans don't seem very high on Kellen Moore, but the Jones Boyz seem to be in love with him like he was Garrett or something. McCarthy is a lame duck.

Zeke would fit that description...

I think fassell may be gone too if the extra points keep being missed and penalties keep happening on special teams

List seems about right.
There are a few players on one year deals, but it is not like it is a last chance type thing for them.
Players like Hooker. And those type signings. But I don’t count them as they are only one year deals.

Many want to put Noah Brown on that list as well. But he has proven well for what they ask him to do. I still feel he needs to be given more opportunities.

The front office loves Zeke, but this is an important year for him too. If he doesn't have a productive year Jones will have to make a decision there too.

No clue ...... Because people only get fired for hurting Jerry's or Stephen's feelings ..... Not because of their play on the field.

I don't think Sean Peyton will be the coach for the Cowboys, so McCarthy is safe unless the team just bottoms out. Otherwise, list seems credible.

He gets so much grief. When the offense was rolling last year he was the #1 HC candidate on many teams list. Dak gets hurt, the OL gets banged around and penalties get out of control and everyone wants him gone. Oh, the offense won't be bad this year. Geez.

that’s true. I remember reading multiple threads here the first 8 weeks, anxious about him being plucked after the season. Then after that, he resumed being a lump of crap around here.

plus he’s always gonna be attached to the “Garrett Legacy”…… another unpopular trait around here.
