What QB not named Mahomes or Burrow did not suck this weekend?

Did not suck this weekend ? Dak deserves everything he's getting now. But I was just thinking about this week's past games. And pretty much all the losing quarterbacks sucked. Dak- sucked- Allen-sucked-Lawrence-sucked-Jones-sucked. So. Yes. Dak sucked. But had good company:laugh: I'm sure their fanbase board is just as lite up about their quarterbacks as we are about Dak. I think Mahomes and Burrow are the best quarterbacks in the NFL period! No one else is even close IMHO. Dak is just a middle ground type of Q.B. If you want him to be a Burrow or Mahomes type of guy. You're going to always be disappointed. Dak needs help. Jerry getting rid of Cooper didn't help Dak one ioda. It was Cooper who made Dak good to begin with. Yet your brilliant GM gives him away for a bag of chips without replacing him with the same talent or near type wideout. So, for me? it was Jerry who torpedoed the season. After reminding myself about this. I feel better now. The cloud has lifted a little. Dak was just one of 3 other quarterbacks that sucked this past weekend. Two weeks ago he was one of the best. His numbers where better than all of them. Dak just has to find a way to stay consistent. Now the HUGE question is- whether he can figure this out? In reality though on any given game day. Dak can be the best or the worst quarterback on the field. I think he just has to find a way to be good or great week to week. Not suck-mainly at playoff time. But no quarterback goes a whole season playing a perfect games. Staubach-Brady - Aikman to Mahomes. Rodger Staubach had his worse games versus the Steelers in both Super Bowls. Good defenses can make any quarterback look bad. Even Burrow sucked against the Ravens and if not for that lucky 98 yard fumble return. He would be at home now. With Bengal fan base saying he sucks. So again. Thinking like this I feel a lot better. Still pissed we lost. But only one fanbase will be happy in the end. But Dak MUST!! Figure this out!! If he can't? He can't be here. This leaves him 2 years at best to figure it out.
Here's something else to give you hope for laughter. Let the Beagles AKA the Eagles lose Sunday and watch what's coming for Hurt's:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:That "smoke" is going to be epic. So let's- let this go and think about how we can get to the Super Bowl next season. Because next season is all we have to look forward to now. Took Jimmy 3 seasons. This is McCarthy's 3rd year minus the wasteful Covid season. But boy... Eagles lose Sunday. I'm going to literally run to their website. With a fire extinguisher :lmao::lmao:

That's pretty cool. I like comparing my team's suckage to other team's suckage. New stat for inadequate play.
P.S. Purdy played bad also. Was just lucky. Diggs dropped his int. 49ers didn't drop Dak's. I said Dak played inadequate. No excuse for him. But funny how every quarterback that lost played horrible. Diggs gets that int? Who knows? Ravens don't fumble-they beat Cincy. Man....

49ers also dropped one of Daks interceptions, they also let him go on a safety, which isnt talked about enough

All different circumstances. Lawrence is going to be elite.

Dak has more experience and better personnel than most of them. He should have performed far better. It's not all on them. Making Dak play "aggressive" completely contradicts his strengths and abilities.

I think it's a stretch to pay Purdy was bad. Remember, Dak also got away with a pick 6 and safety.

Purdy didn't throw TD, but also didn't throw interceptions. He completed almost 66 percent of his throws. For a rookie he played a solid game. He sure wasn't bad.

Most of us did not like the way Dak played and is fed up with him QB'ing the team. However, he's not going anywhere. So how do we salvage the next 2 years with what we have, considering Jerry doesn't draft a QB, because we all know how Jerry is.

We have to surround him with talent, and make this offensive line the VERY BEST. We have to put a speed RB and speed at receiver and TE. I would draft mostly offensive fire power for this offense and let the chips fall. Otherwise, I can sit here whining like a little bit**, crying about a player that's going to be here, I'd rather be proactive. Ha, like I can change anything on the Cowboys. Let's just say, I'd rather be positive then.

Indeed. What in the world happened there? Did he let up trying to avoid a roughing call??

It looked like he was going to plant Dak for the walk off safety. That would have really made this board melt

Yeah but Allen is a young elite QB that was beaten by another young elite QB. Lawrence is young and is also going to be elite. Jones has struggled some but improved greatly this year so not exactly sure where his ceiling is but at this time I'd say he is nothing but another Dak but with the possibility of more upside. And Dak, well we know what we have in him. I'd say Dallas wins the superbowl with any of them.

Call Roger Goodell and plead with him to make the NFL a non-Cap league and maybe Jerry can buy Dak a Superbowl?

It’s going to get to where there are only 3-5 really good to great QBs in the league and they are going to be finalists every year, and win it most years.

We don’t have one. The brain trust thinks that we do.

Anyone catch the problem?

You guys trying to put lipstick on a pig are too funny. I have been trying to hold back, but I cannot any more

Dak has average....average arm talent. His athletic ability has waned...so now he is not much of a threat to run.

He is a gamer and a leader. But that is the definition of a GAME MANAGER. Please spare me with his stats against average teams or the regular season. This organization is beyond being compared to regular season success. Right now...we need to figure out how to beat the Eagles or 49ers. So figure out how to build a roster and gameplan that does not ask Dak to be a playmaker against those teams....and still come away with the win.

Stop mentioning Dak in the same breath as Josh Allen and Trevor Lawrence. Their athleticism and arm talent is far superior. And for the record...so is Danny Dimes. But Danny Dimes is not better than Dak.....yet. Not saying he ever will be....but if they held a draft today with all the QBs that played this past weekend....Dak would be drafted just ahead of Daniel Jones and Josh Purdy.

Purdy has the same amount of playoff wins as Dak.

No Dak has 2 he is 2-4 in the playoffs. Purdy was way out of his comfort zone which was to be expected being a 7th round rookie. Purdy was not going to win the game, he just didnt want to lose it. Luckily for the 49ers team Dak took care of that for him....

Difference is Purdy was a 7th round rookie in just his 8th NFL start, and who was only elevated from 3rd string to starter because of injuries. Dak is in his 7th NFL season, all of which were as the starting QB.

I've always felt Dak was a good QB, and thought he could win, but I've also recognized he had a lot of questions to be answered. Sadly, the answers are starting to look more and more to go against Dak, and after 7 years he is very close to running out of time to turn those answers around. Purdy has a lot more time to show how he can develop.
