What r we..

well how about you visit my thread?

"offensive strategy altered for rest of season"

Its time to put the season on Bledsoe's arm. The run can hammer home wins. This was a major win, major!

I don't think we can simply go pass heavy with Bledsoe though. I just think we have to pass more on first down and stop being so predictable.

I think it depends on what the defense is giving you.

If they are keeping the LBs back to defend the pass - you take that.

If they are giving up the short routes in the flats and over the middle, you take that.

If they are packing things in tight, you take a shot deep.

This is the key to a successful offense - we have the tools to do it. We just now need to consistently execute.

We have major weapons in the passing game. We are 3-2 because we're too damned conservative. The first 4 games teams have BEGGED us to throw by putting 8 in the box to stop JJ....until today we only gave in once(SD game). Lets see if we can stay in attack mode instead of cowering down and just giving in to what the defense dictates.

JJ out of the backfield

Throw the ball until teams put an extra DB on the field.

What's weird is, if there was any team you'd expect Parcells to run it against so far, it would be this one. They statistically were way down the list against the run, and had even a thinner than usual D-line rotation this week.

But Parcells said after the game that he decided just last night to come out really aggressive and throw it like he did... I wonder if he thought it was time to send a message to his players that he had faith in them and would go for the throat early like they'd been asking for. That would be my guess, and IMO it was necessary, because the players have the same questions about being so conservative that we fans have. Today he showed his players and the Eagles that we were going to be aggressive and not show any fear no matter how many times they've beaten us lately.

we have too many good pass-catchers not to use them...often
Witten, Crayton, Key, Glenn....how many teams have that many weapons catching balls?

a better pass first or run first offense?
It's all about field position. No way Parcells comes out throwing like that without it.

I had a feeling BP would have something up his sleeve ... considering how he vehemently denied all week that he'd make any Offensive gameplan changes. All week, we heard how he was going to play the same game.

Reid should have been smarter than to believe him ...
