What state produces the most football players?

Just curious what state do y'all think puts more/best players in the NFL and collegiate level?

Texas, Florida, California, Louisiana, etc....

Other than NY, I bet it almost breaks down by state population size....or at least very close to that.

The 10 largest states are California, Texas, NY, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Georgia, North Carolina.

I would suspect excluding NY, that will get you very close to your answer.

I think the state that produces the most NFL players per capita would be Louisiana...by far.

I was thinking Miss. would be up there on a per capita basis as they are very similar to Louisiana....ton of talent there.
