I know some are ready to sit him right now.
What should really happened
My opinion, upon the next interception,
Bench him, put Cooper Rush in.
When he loses. Here comes ,Trey Lance.
Until we trade, or draft, a quarterback, there’s really not that many options. But I’m ready to see a different plan.
I just don’t think the team has confidence in his abilities right now. Probably the coaches also but they won’t say so.

Prescott will likely play out the season unless the season just implodes on itself and then they might consider giving Lance some PT to see what they have.

Barring that type of implosion, Dak will be back in 2024 with either a new extension or a restructure. That would be dumb in both cases but Jerry is dumb.

What should happen is barring a miraculous run here, Cowboys should admit what is patently obvious, cut bait with Dak, fire McCarthy, draft a QB/work with Lance and find a great young offensive minded coach to help develop those guys. That's the smart move, and frankly, the only move that makes sense if you want to try to win a SB any time soon.

They will not draft a QB, now that Jerry has his next great QB in Lance. Not saying Lance is not that guy, he very well could be. We need to see him play.
Jerry needs to make an executive decision, and make Lance active from here on out. However, what if Lance balls out, does Jerry really want a QB controversy.
