I admit to being lazy and not reviewing articles and write-ups like I should. And yes the dreadful not watching video.

So if they say draft a RB in the 2nd and don't draft anymore, who is a decent RB as a UDFA?

They should be better than Vaughn or Luepke, who would fit that level as an improvement for a 4th RB or FB-short yardage back?

Don’t know where he ends up, but Mario Anderson Jr is very underrated. 5’8 206 physical runner with good hands. Just needs to prove he can pass block and he will carve out a role in the NFL.

After his 1st 2 years at D1AA he transferred to South Carolina and then to Memphis. In 2 years he had-
379 Attempts, 2069 Yards, 5.5 YPC, 21 TD’s + 74 Catches, 465 Yards, 4 TD’s

Montrell Johnson, Florida
Peny Boone, UCF
Antario Brown, Norther Illinois
Ja'Quinden Jackson, Arkansas
Lan Larison, UC Davis

In any other draft these players would be 5th or 6th round guys.
If we have to grab one of these udfas, we failed miserabley on draft day. But if I was forced I really like the Florida kid Johnson.

Looks like the Cowboys will have Andrew Henry from New Mexico, and Trey Sanders of TCU in to work out. I assume from cursory look at rankings those two won't be drafted.

Andrew Henry didn't even play last season. He thought he had another year of eligibility but towards the start of spring camp, he found out he was out of years. I don't know how that happens. The same thing happened to Croskey-Merritt from Arizona.

Trey Sanders has been injured his whole career. He only has 177 carries in 5 years of college football. He was a 5 star recruit in 2019. He even gets injured when he's not on the field. He got in a car crash and shattered his pelvis which in turn tore open his bladder; sounds painful.

These players are going to be overlooked because of injury and suspension. Neither one has produced at a high level in college. The Cowboys are just being diligent in bringing these guys in. I don't expect either one to make an NFL roster.

I would be happy with Montrell and Ja'Quinden being draft by the Cowboys, so as UDFA I'd be fist pumping. Two under the radar players.

Croskey-Merritt is intriguing.

Better than Vaughn?

The grass in the field is better than Vaughn
