Here are my takeaways.

1. The no call on Tee Higgins grabbing Jalen Ramseys facemask on the TD catch just proves that NFL officials suck and miss a lot of calls. Coaches should be able to challenge the result of any play, and successful challenges should not be limited. Fortunately, it did not affect the outcome of the game.

2. Joe Burrow needs an OL. The dude lead the league in getting sacked with 51, and tied a super bowl record getting sacked 7 times last night.

3. Matt Stafford just proved how quickly the narrative around someone's career can change. Dak should be taking notes as he enters his 7th season with a 1-3 playoff record.

4. Cooper Krupp just capped the greatest season ever put up by a WR with a Super Bowl MVP. Not bad for an UDFA from Eastern Washington.

5. Aaron Donald is simply an unfair mismatch. People that big should not have feet that fast. He is a true freak of nature. I thought he was the games MVP but defensive guys rarely get that honor........ shout out to Harvey Martin and Randy White.

What a great post. Yes, they could have easily picked a dual MVP from the defensive line that kept them in the game, and allowed that comeback at the end. Or just simply Donald. I would have no problem with that.

I think the ref was on the sideline on that non call? If he was, he wouldn't have been in position to see it. He grabbed the guy's face and threw him to the ground. But no need for a challenge there. They have refs in a sky box somewhere, right? That was so blatant, that one of them could have made the call rather easily and informed the refs on the field. It's not a judgement call at that point. It's black and white.

Kupp was a 3rd round pick of the Rams.
Refs also missed a PI on Ramsey in the end zone that cost the Bengals a TD. Guess it evened out.

What I learned was that in the commercial with the Sopranos they used CGI to create charging stations where none exist.

Also, in the show where Tony takes a ticket getting onthe Turnpike, the girl goes through the EZ-Pass and it should have said "Go, EZ-Pass", not "EZ-Pass Paid". Damn, they can't even get something that simple right.

Have given up talking about the refs, just know they don't care and do the best they can.

The Rams had the best player on the defense in Donald, the best QB and the best player on the offense in Kupp no way the Bengals were winning this game, actually surprised it was as close as it was. I had it 33-20.

Do expect both teams to be in the SB mix at least the next 4/5 seasons.

Weren't all the playoff games historically close?

Yes. All but 3 games. The games that included the 7th seeds, teams that shouldn't even be there. And the Cards got blown out. No surprise there either. Other than that, I think if you took the underdog with the points, you won every other game. I could be wrong.
