What will likely become Hurricane Colin, no threat to land

Some models show this as going to a major hurricane, Cat 3 or larger, in the next 120 hours. There has never been a landfall for a hurricane that started this far south in the Atlantic Basin, hence it will be referred to as a "fish turner" or a "fishing hurricane".

The interesting thing is that there has never been a Cape Verde hurricane develop in July. At least that's according to the folks I get my information from.

Another system has formed. #1 is probably going to hit the Gulf of Mexico by early next week, while #2 is going to become Colin and work a bit of magic on the East Coast.
