What will the 2005-2006 Cowboys be remembered for?

If the season ended today, what would this season's Cowboys be remembered for?

I think it would be for a solid, all-around team that was hampered by missed opportunities. They would fight it out with anyone you put against them, but they couldn't put teams away.

From an Eagles perspective, I'd certain retain the memory of the 2005 CowbOys sweeping the Eagles.

A Team on the thresh-old of being something special but before you can be special you must first refuse to lose.

The 05 - 06 team will be remembered as the year that they started to show flashes of the dominance that was to follow the next years to come.

I would remember them as a solid, tough team. They're one of those pretty darn good teams with a hole or two. When you get past Indy, that's what the next tier of teams look like, IMO.

That they were in every single game. Top 10 team in the NFL...that won't win it all.
I am sure a heck of lot hapier about this team then I was last year this point.

Even if the season ended today we wouldn't get a full picture until somewhere down the line. Hopefully it'll be remembered as the training ground for this group of rookies to lead the Cowboys to future Super Bowls.
