I’ll be surprised if we score that many points against what was the number one overall defense last season. None of our starters playing in the preseason and not having CeeDee for pretty much all of training camp could cause our offense to get off to a slow start. It’s anyone’s guess what our running game is going to look like. We better hope our defense shows up in this game. We’ll get a pretty good idea what kind of team we’re likely to have this season after Sunday.

we will not score 34, against the browns defense who were #1 defense last year in yards, y/p, 5th in turnovers, first downs, passing yards, 2nd in net yards/pass, 6th in sacks, with two rookie OL men starting, Steele who is coming off injury, a backfield that has Zeke starting (who should be retiring).

With a couple of rookies on the OL and questions with our running game, this is likely to be a tough game especially considering the struggles we’ve had on grass and on the road. We better figure out our road problems. Just hoping the defense shows up in this game or there’s possibilities this could get ugly. If we get off to a bad start this season, 2025 could end up being as bad as some have forecasted.
