I ask this because I truly believe that we have more talent than any team in the division. Garrett and Pederson are both bozos as HC, but are Jim Schwartz and Dave Fipp really that much better than Marinelli and Bisaccia? Is the difference between 2-3 and 4-1 really coaching? They have one heathly D back that is any good, no Cox, a middle LB that seems to get hurt as much as ours, and they somehow win close games. I'm glad I'm off today, as I don't know how much I can take today.

Frankly, as you watch this unfold, there's an argument to be made that Philly is just as talented, if not more, on the 53 than we are.

But yes, to your bigger question, Schwartz is a better DC than Marinelli.

No the defense stinks and I am no fan of Rod but in two games that close where our defense let us down, I believe the QB of our defense would make the difference.

Not defending Rod or the coaching staff-- just stating the fact that Lee's absence left us vulnerable and exposed in the heart of our D. No way Aaron Jones goes for 100 on us-- and I think Gurley's production would have been less as well if Sean was out there.

I said it when the Eagles got him.

It was ridiculous that Buffalo made the change to Rex Ryan and the 3-4 defense when Schwartz had their D running well and leading the league in sacks.

2 years later, Ryan is gone from Buffalo and Schwartz is quickly whipping the Philly defense into shape and they're quickly recovering from the Chip Kelly debacle.
