This is a joint show from DallasCowboys.com. Helman, Mickey, Isaiah Stanback and Danny McRae were on the show.

There are some good talking points concerning the offense. Both former players are ripping KM for many of the same things we've discussed here. Stanback is also pointing out some of Dak's issues he's seen from watching film. Mickey is being the usual ultra-homer self. It's a good watch.

Some of the things that were mentioned which were things we discussed on the Zone:
  • McRae hopes KM gets a HC job so he is no longer the OC.
  • McRae wants MM to call plays
  • McRae and Stanback thinks they should bring back Kitna as QB because Dak improved the most under him and Kitna holds players accountable.
  • Stanback thinks from watching film there were many easy 5-8 yard plays available that Dak should have taken instead of looking for chunk plays. Especially when the OL wasn't holding up.
  • They think both KM and Dak may be impatient.
  • Stanback was comparing our offense to Patriots offense he played on. Talks about how Brady would take the easy plays that were given to get the defense out of their game.
  • Mickey blames defense and the OL for the loss and defends Dak.
  • McRae and Standback feels defense did its job and did more than enough to win the game.
  • Standback says everything comes back to KM for most of the issues we've had on offense due to him being the main offensive coach.
  • They have questions if KM can hold his players accountable because he used to be their teammate before becoming their coach.

These are some of points I've posted and some of other members have posted. I thought it was interesting that these former players saw the same things and felt the same way.
