What's up with the passing Offense?

If we are going to have as many line up mistakes on each play, we need to speed up our tempo getting the play in to the huddle. It's ridiculous to have a firedrill on each play with Romo sprinting to the huddle or gesticulating out wide ... it's borderline comical.

Garrett has to look at himself and take responsibility in part for Tony's play level, which is plummeting at an alarming rate. Simplify the offense or dump it entirely because whatever we're doing- especially in the passing game- isn't fooling anyone anymore.

I see us no better than 8 wins unless we start doing things differently on offense. If it means let Romo grip it and rip it- then so be it. He looks handcuffed by variables on too many plays that he really has 12 seconds to correct, which only adds to the pressure of the situation.

Use the running game yes- but if we're afraid of using the intermediate pass routes, we are screwed entirely.

We have no vertical threat. Romo has to throw short passes which he cant even do

Get the o-line to pass-block better...and get the WR's running routes that will help them get open....they just aren't doing it very well....too slow.

Just posted on this in another thread. I don't know what's wrong. But something is.

I'm the first one to acknowledge the competition. Not always an easy thing to do as a fan. We find ourselves so fixated on our team, we have a hard time putting any performance into perspective. It's always we didn't do this or we didn't do that.

There is another team out there. Denver did make a lot of nice coverage plays throughout the game including two on the last two plays of the game.

But with all that said something still isn't adding up or me. We've run the far to well and pass blocked far to well for the overall mediocre passing game we've had for really three weeks now.

Roy Williams
Patrick Crayton
Sam Hurd
Miles Austin

Sadly enough Crayton is the only one that does not make me want to put my head through a wall.

Romo cant hit an open WR to save his life. He needs to pull his head out of his arse. Im done defending this guy, he gave 2 games away this year with his eratic play.

Wasn't it 5 sacks given up by the OL? They played dreadful too.

I dont know...

sometimes I think Romo makes it too complicated then it really is at the line of scrimmage.....

Romo isnt Payton Manning....

Doomsday you are right...If it wasnt for 2 broken plays and one fluke play (tampa bay) , Romo would have sucked for all four games now.

I think some of those sacks were coverage sacks.....but I also think Romo has happy feet back there and hold the ball too long.

Hell, he is not even Eli.

Romo doesnt trust himself, he doesnt trust his receivers. Its sad to watch.

3 of those sacks were because Romo held onto the ball way too long. He is playing awful and deserves the blame.

Eli has an effective play-action... Garrett doesn't even use it.. he runs shot-gun draw all day...
