Something is not right with this dude. He gets flagged every single game. I don't remember this being a problem in the past. And his blocking? He blew the block on the FG and cost us. If I remember he blew the block on the flea flicker a few weeks back against the GInts. I still like him but his play is WAY down this year.

Too many groupies leaving his quarters at 5am the morning after?

You are right. I love his receiving abilities and that's sad to me. We need this guy to be in the game and not make those silly false start penalties, because he's such and asset to our passing game.

Getting up at 3 AM to feed a baby. How can having a newborn son not affect your play?

I know you're kidding. But this joke just barely skirts blasphemy. :)

And holds even less credence than the earlier-this-season rationale for Jason's less then 100% perfect play - his new father role - his new baby keeping him awake nights.

Still, if I had to vote on a poll of irrelevant excuses...I'd vote the crying kid.;)

Other players have newborn babies and with the kind of money these guys make, I'm sure Witten can find a room not so close to the crying baby to sleep in. That's not it. Something else is wrong. Some players fizzle after signing big contracts, but since Jason is still a clutch receiver, I don't think that's it. The whole team needs to look in the mirror, individually and collectively.

it's pretty simple....focus....we do not have the mental toughness to play with the big boys...it's ok to not have 53 guys with big time mental toughness..but guys that are a major part of your gameplan have to be mentally tough...TO is so focused on a stupid TD dance...then he drops a TD...and he wonders why he will never be in the HOF...he is not about winning...and the sad part about it? He probably does not even realize he is not a winner

I'll probably say this 1 million times. Witten was flagged once on a series where we scored a TD anyway.

Yah, I know. :)

And you know some of us old fuddy-duddies erroneously attributing some mythic honor to players of the past see JW as a throw-back in more ways than one. :)

Big Boys?

Is that what the Skins are.?!?

They're all Big and Little Boys now..just on alternate Sundays.

By big boys I mean in a general sense....we are a .500 outfit that would need couple of luck breaks to go 10 -6. That is what I mean by big boys. We are still a .500 outfit. The big boys kick the FG and go home winners. The pretenders sit around and are waitng to see we are going to screw this game up. And as long as the Skins stayed within 7 points all I kept saying to myself is I've seen this horror flick before.
