When does 2007 NFL Season begin?

I'm guessing it's going to be September 9, but I was wondering if anyone knew for sure.

I wish it would start at the beginning of September like it used to....

The season usually will kick off with a Thursday game. Put your money on 9/6/07 with the majority of the games on 9/9/07, and 1 or 2 on Monday Night.

It is 90% likely that this will be when the season kicks off. It has kicked off earlier, but not as often and it seems to have settled in this pattern.

I'm hoping that is the weekend.

Oklahoma/Miami is on Sept. 8 in Norman, and I'm hoping to be able to fly into Dallas and catch a double header with that game and hopefully a Cowboys season-opener. [fingers crossed]

The NFL season used to start with the college "All-Star" game,last played about 30 years ago. It pitted the NFL champions vs. an "All Star" team of graduating college seniors. Try putting that together today!
