Several posters, including myself, gave a very fair assessment of the game and what Parcells' reaction to it would be.

Did anyone on this forum think Parcells would come out and do a Vermeil and tear up about how gosh darn proud he was of the team?

The last question of the PC was hysterical, "Bill you just beat a very good team, you seem really down on the team."

The worst thing he could do is talk up how pleased he was, with a team this young.

I agree,this team has a long ways to go.I also think they can and will improve each week.

I wonder who that gentleman is... Sounds like an older guy, with the deep voice and Texas accent. He asks some odd questions like that sometimes, which makes me think he's not a long-time writer. He sounds a little like Frank Luksa, but it's not Frank. I'm not sure.

To be honest, he only asked directly, what everyone else was hinting at the entire PC.

Questions like, Ware made adjustments, did not set up Parcells for the answer...and the message...he wanted to pass along.

A couple of questions in...hell before it even started if you had a clue...it was obvious that Parcells was not going to be throwing around superlatives.

So re-direct your questions to focus on what needs to be fixed.

Or a question about Price not being ready and if he can go next week. If he does play, he how do you juggle having four WRs?

Or how Spears did and will do try to work him in more?

I did think there were some decent questions about how Davis did and whether some new players will have to be brought in to fix the kickoff coverage.

Although as we all know, Bill is cranky from not sleeping on Monday... So you probably have a better chance of getting real answers from him in a couple of days.

He did get asked about Price, and my advice to Peerless, volunteer to return punts and kick offs. Price is more likely fighting it out with Polite, Barber and Thompson to even be active, than he is taking catches away from Key, Glenn and Crayton.

Jenny got in a good question about Ware and his adjustments during the game - Nice response from BP -- something like "it isn't an adjustment if it is what you were supposed to be doing in the first place". Jenny consistently asks good questions.

I disagree, it was a question looking for a positive.

Parcells was not looking for those.

He gave a flippant answer.

A good question would have been about what he was doing wrong technically and what he did or still needs to do to improve. That would have added a good two minutes to the PC.
