It’s just like always. They crawl back under their rock after a Cowboys win. But don’t worry. Someone will post a negative thread and the Trolls will bust open those rocks and crawl out.

The haters?

There's nothing really to say than what has already been said. The defense dominated and the special teams showed up so the offense were not asked to win the game. The team would have comfortably won with Cooper Rush at QB so we learnt nothing about Prescott except he's playing on a juggernaut of a team as he has been the last few seasons.

The takeaway is the Cowboys and 49ers remain very strong and whilst it's early days, I think they are the class of the NFC. The Eagles' defense is there to be exposed as it was in the Superbowl but they still have a strong offense. Interesting how the Lions, Packers and Falcons get on over the next few games as they all looked very good albeit it's week 1.

Very interesting how the Jets get on tonight.

We will learn more about the Cowboys when they play legit teams like the Jets, 49ers and Eagles but that was of course a sensational start against the Giants.

While the offense was putrid the rest of the team made up for it. There is no need to bash anyone because it was a win. But if you watched the game or look at the stats other than it's a W, then you also know there is nothing to praise about the leaderless offense.

Where was the criticism of Prescott?
We didn't learn anything new about Prescott. How is that a criticism? The Cowboys have beaten the Giants what 10 games in a row now and the Giants have largely been pitiful during that period.

If I wanted to denigrate Prescott's performance then I would highlight that he didn't throw a TD pass, didn't even throw 150 yards and just about completed over 50% of his throws. But he didn't need to so it's irrelevant. It was similar to how Hurts played for the Eagles against the 49ers in the play offs when many Cowboy fans claimed he was terrible. No, he managed the game and didn't need to do much because the defense and Special teams took care of matters. The offense just had to grease the wheels, hence why we didn't learn anything new about Prescott vs the Giants.

What new did you learn about the team? How many TD's were not caught? In a team game, all members are dependent upon each other. Therefore, good win by the Cowboys, but the OFFENSE needs to do better.

No, we just want stuff like this to stop. It’s OK to critique. It’s not OK just to outright dislike just because. Period it’s just not a good practice. I actually thought the offense was lucky. The defense scored so many points initially. It took them a while to get going.
